In a society characterized by strong gender discrimination, younger generations are questioning and challenging these long-standing contradictions. With unprecedented access to online platforms and social media, they are connecting with a rapidly changing world that confronts outdated conventions head-on.

For many of these young individuals, the clash between societal pressures to conform and their drive to embrace progress is becoming more evident. They are navigating a complex reality, actively questioning and breaking down enduring stereotypes in the pursuit of a more just and inclusive future.

The request for gender equality resonates across the globe today, highlighting a clear reality: in every country, women continue to face violence, sexism, and gender-based discrimination. This underscores the urgent need to strengthen and promote a culture of equality, mutual respect, and cooperation, ensuring equal opportunities for all. It is essential to provide both women and men the chance to break free from the blind repetition of sexist models and gender stereotypes. Against this structural backdrop, the project focused on involving young Roma living in Europe to challenge stereotypes and amplify their voices and experiences in a public narrative that often stigmatizes them. By creating a space that would otherwise not exist, the project aimed to foster visibility and offer opportunities for critical thinking.
